Camping

We went camping at Warm River Campground last weekend and of course the first picture is of eating cause that's one of Lisa's favorite activities, no matter what the occasion. She was a really big help setting up the tent first though.

After we ate we did a little fishing. Ryan caught a fish and let her reel it in the last few inches. She could've had more time to reel it in, but she just did not want to give up her cheese that she was eating until she actually saw the fish splashing around. Then she threw her cheese on the ground and started reeling it in. She wants to be a big girl so bad.

Later in the evening it was still too early to make the fire, but she seemed a little restless and prone to mischeviousness, so we had her collect pinecones and rocks in a pot and go throw them in the river. This was a great source of amusement until we got the fire going.

Then we did smores and relaxed around the fire, enjoying Lisa's campfire songs, until it was time to go to sleep. She slept in her very own sleeping bag and it was so cute to wake up in the middle of the night to find her snuggled way down inside.

The next morning we went for a bike ride and it was very beautiful. Lisa didn't care for the bumps in the dirt trail, but she survived. We got off our bikes and walked around a bit and Ryan taught Lisa the proper names of the plants she saw.

Before we packed up camp, we did a little more fishing, but there was no fish this time for Lisa to reel in so she spent her time throwing rocks in the water. When we left camp she was asleep within minutes in her car seat. We can't wait to do it again!
